AISS aims to bring about the understanding that Art is a basic building block in forming social structures, its projects include providing university scholarships, funding for small businesses and organizing cultural and educational exchange programs. AISS and its members believe that the role of Art is fundamental to all civil societies. It is important that a community's creative resources are preserved and nurtured for its own growth and for future generations

AISS, seeks to encourage a creative and practical discourse about contemporary life. It is not a general grant making body, it instead seeks to mentor, sustain and work with future scholars, communities and projects it supports.
