This is the official web page of Art in Social Structures, an international NGO (Non-Governmental Organisation) run by and funded by artists.

AISS and its members believe that the role of Art is fundamental to all civil societies; that a community's creative resources should be preserved and nurtured for present and future generations.

AISS aims to bring about the understanding that Art is a basic building block in forming social structures; it seeks to encourage a creative and practical discourse about contemporary life.

AISS does not make general grants; instead, it seeks to mentor, sustain and work with the individuals, communities and projects it supports. Its projects include providing university scholarships, funding small businesses and organizing cultural and educational exchange programs.
